All fine and good.

The point you apparently miss is that we as a society can't claim the moral
ground to condemn actions like that by other countries, if we're just as
guilty of them.

It's hard to say that kidnapping and torture are evil when your own policies
include extraordinary renditions and waterboarding as acceptable things to do.
